CARD IMAGES
To ensure we're able to offer a vast range of singles and a streamlined browsing experience, all single card listings on our website use high-quality stock images.
The image shown is a professional representation of the card and not a scan of the exact physical copy you will receive. We guarantee that the card you receive will strictly match the condition that you select, as defined by our detailed grading standards below. As such, minor variations like print centering may differ from the representative photo.
OUR SECURE SHIPPING PROMISE
We understand that the safety of your cards during transit is paramount. Every single card we ship is handled with care and packed using the following S4 multi-layer method to ensure it arrives in the condition described:
- Sleeved: Each card is placed into a soft penny sleeve to protect it from surface scratches and dust.
- Secured: The sleeved card is then placed into a semi-rigid card holder for impact and bend protection.
- Sealed: The protected card is sealed within a resealable team bag. This prevents the card from sliding out of the semi-rigid card holder and protects it from moisture.
- Shipped: The secured card is then placed into a tracked envelope, bubble mailer or cardboard box.
Note:
- We will use bubble wrap and void filling to add additional protection where necessary.
- Materials used for packaging are dependent on quantity of cards in order and total value.
CARD CONDITION GUIDE
Card condition is subjective; however, we adhere to a strict and consistent internal grading standard.
Our grades are a professional assessment of a card's condition based on years of experience. Please use the following guide to understand how we classify our cards.
OUR GRADING CRITERIA
NM+ (Near Mint Plus)
A card graded NM+ is a "pack fresh" card that we believe could be a candidate for a high grade (e.g., PSA 9-10) from a professional grading service. These are the best cards from our inventory.
- Surface: Flawless. No scratches, scuffs, or printing imperfections visible to the naked eye.
- Corners: Four perfectly sharp corners.
- Edges: Clean and free of any whitening or silvering.
- Centering: May have the very slight off-centering common to the set but is generally well-centered.
NM (Near Mint)
A Near Mint card is a collector-grade card that appears unplayed at first glance. Under close inspection, it may have a few minor imperfections.
- Surface: May have a few very light scratches or tiny printing specks. Any imperfections are not immediately noticeable.
- Corners: Generally sharp, but may have one or two instances of a tiny fleck of whitening.
- Edges: May have a couple of very small white spots on the back edges. Any edge wear is minimal.
- Centering: Centering is not considered when a card is graded NM.
NM- (Near Mint Minus)
A Near Mint Minus card is a pack-fresh card that, upon close inspection, reveals minor but noticeable imperfections, typically from the manufacturing process. It's a card that just misses the NM grade but is still in excellent, unplayed condition.
- Surface: May have light print lines, minor roller marks, or a small amount of silvering/scuffing on the holofoil from the factory.
- Corners: Generally sharp, but may exhibit minor corner softening or a few small instances of whitening.
- Edges: May have slight but noticeable whitening or silvering on one or two edges, straight from the pack.
- Centering: Centering is not considered when a card is graded NM-.
LP (Lightly Played)
A Lightly Played card shows minor but visible signs of wear. It is a great option for collectors who are not concerned with gem-mint condition or for players looking for well-cared-for cards.
- Surface: May have light scratches, scuffs, or small indentations. Holofoil cards may have minor clouding.
- Corners: May have slight corner rounding or whitening on multiple corners.
- Edges: Will have visible whitening or silvering along the edges, but it is not extensive.
MP (Moderately Played)
A Moderately Played card has obvious signs of wear from play without a sleeve. This card is perfect for players on a budget.
- Surface: Will have noticeable scratches, scuffs, or indentations. May have minor dirt buildup.
- Corners: Will have visible rounding, whitening, and potentially light peeling.
- Edges: Will have consistent and noticeable whitening along most edges.
- Other: May have a minor crease or bend that does not compromise the card's structural integrity.
